I have had my Samsung Galaxy 2s for 7 months and I simply adore this phone! Just starting yesterday it got really hot, just in my purse and esp. when I charge it.

I am trippin and really worried! I paid almost $600 for this phone I called customer service at T-Mobile and they suggested to take out the battery for a wee bit. I did

made no difference.

they want me to do a Master Reset and they gave me directions to save all my contacts to my card thingy. But I will lose all my apps! I can get them all back, right, without paying? I only have like 10 apps if that!

I have 80 pictures on my phone and no music.

I have also heard that we should not go into Task Manager and close out the apps, as this is not needed. but I did, to see if that would help the over heating, but to no avail.

T-Mobile stated to try this step, and if this does not resolve the issue, they will hook me up with a new phone.
